As I carved these 'Eternal Tears,' I reflected upon the imperfection of tears, and how they are not perfect spheres. When tears well up or cascade down one's cheek, their shapes shift, and become elongated and irregular. I envision 'Lacrime Eterne’ as a representation of this ever-changing nature; Intentionally choosing diverse stones to capture the essence of different tear types. The subtle slant at the top of each tear is a deliberate reminder that tears, shed in response to profound emotions, are inherently unique and beautifully imperfect.
