DUEDASETTE - ‘Two by Two by Seven’

I made this little piece my first year at RISD for an Industrial Design class. We were asked to transform a 7” by 2” by 2” pine block by only making 2 cuts. So I cut it with a round blade on a parabolic spline making 3 pieces that were then glued together. The French Title is about the size of the block when I started. I am now processing it to cast in Bronze at 2 feet tall.
