NEW GALLERY --- NEW LOCATION --- TBARNY IN SANTA FE

The relationship between an artist and a gallery is complex. It is fabulous to find a gallery that understands how to sell sculpture. People often find it hard to imagine where 3 dimensional Art fits in their homes. I have been very lucky to have several great galleries, but when my long time Santa Fe gallery Hunter Kirkland closed last year I was nervous. At an earlier gallery opening in conversation with the owner of Victory Contemporary, she mentioned how they would have liked to represent me. I contacted her and am excited to tell you about my new relationship with Victory Contemporary gallery in Santa Fe.

The Gallery was on Canyon Road but has just moved to an incredible spot one block off the plaza; 124 West Palace. That is across from the New Mexico Museum of Modern Art.  The gallery will be in the historic Delgado house. They will have to preserve the house while making it into a gallery. It comes with a fabulous garden for outdoor sculpture.

The husband & wife owners Poteet and Terry Victory are both artists and understand sculpture.

There is a grand opening for the new gallery location on March 20th  from 5 - 7, and I will be there to celebrate. It feels like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
