T Barny supports local Cancer Alliance

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year T Barny chose to donate 10% of all Art Trails sculpture sales to support this important cause. Magic happened and he struck gold; selling two sculptures during the event.

The T Barny team choose North Bay Cancer Alliance (NBCA) for the donation. NBCA was founded in 2005 by Kent Corley, it provides direct, practical support to cancer patients throughout the North Bay. Over the years, NBCA has grown into an essential part of the region’s oncology community, working closely with every oncology center across Marin, Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, and Napa counties to address critical gaps in care.

Today, NBCA’s primary focus is assisting low-income cancer patients, helping ensure they can remain in treatment. This support includes providing free rides to medical appointments, helping patients keep food on the table, and addressing many other urgent, everyday needs. As Corley explains, “We try to cut out the red tape and get the money where it is needed.”

For T Barny, the experience was especially meaningful as his wife and many friends have struggled with cancer issues. “It was a great way to start the holiday season,” he shared. “I was happy that my art made this donation possible.”
