Cararra Marble
This Gaelic word refers to the leader of the Bards and Fili. Bards were professional storytellers, while Fili had the gift of prophecy; shaping culture through their words.
Carrara marble has been my favorite stone for 45 years. This particular one sat in my yard until it finally called me to carve it. Inspired by my classic Möbius strip, I took a new approach—adding a sensual dip at the center. It gives the piece an almost figurative quality, as if a human torso has emerged within the endless form.
