PILLOWY HARDNESS - ‘Not so Soft’

At the beginning of the Covid pandemic, people were hoarding toilet paper. Store shelves remained empty for weeks. PILLOWY HARDNESS is a sculpture I have created as tribute to the “Great toilet paper shortage of 2020”. Carved from Italian Carrara Marble, PILLOWY HARDNESS is a permanent reminder to always keep a roll on hand for emergencies.
