OVIDIUS - “Ancient Roman Poet”

Publius “Ovidius” Naso, better known as Ovid, was a 1st-century BC Roman poet who often wrote on the subjects of love and mythology. I like his quote: “Time is the devourer of all things”. I am a devourer of stone, having carved over 200 different kinds. This kind rock is called Picasso Jasper. It was discovered and named by prospector and geologist David Penny in 1988. Identifiable by its striking and dramatic combination of browns, blacks, grays and white colors, each piece is different.
