Exciting News: DeYoung Open 2023 Update!

I want to share my latest news about the deYoung Open 2023. As you may recall from my previous messages, my sculpture, 'Opacus,' was selected for this exhibition. Out of a staggering 7,700 artwork entries, of which 900 were selected, I am honored to be one of only thirty-eight pedestal sculptures chosen.

Early in October, I had the privilege of attending a special Artist Media Day just before the grand opening of the show. The atmosphere in the room was nothing short of electric. The excitement and energy were palpable. Despite the bustling and noisy environment, I couldn't resist capturing a brief video to provide you with a glimpse of this extraordinary event.

The DeYoung Open 2023 will run until January 7th, and I am excited to let you know that I will be there on Saturday, November 18th from 10 am to 2 pm. If you happen to be in the area or would like to join me, please don't hesitate to reach out. Admission is free on Saturdays, making it a perfect opportunity to experience the art together.

Reaching this stage in my artistic journey and being acknowledged in such a prestigious exhibition is truly affirming. I want my work to make a meaningful impact and touch the hearts of those who encounter it. In these challenging times, it is vital to embrace and savor the beauty of art.
