The Sultan of Stone Speaks...

We’ve been very busy here at the T Barny Studios.

Last month we had a wonderful 2 day International Sculpture event with 6 other Sonoma County sculptors. Almost 200 guests loved the 3D camaraderie and enjoyed a Stone Midway with rock related games and great prizes. This was a kid friendly event and tons of fun was had by all!

Next month; Art at the Source! This will be my first year participating in this Open Studio Tour. This exciting event is the weekends of June 5th/6th and the 12th/13th from 10 am until 5 pm. I am looking forward to seeing you in person.

Grab a glass of wine, Play with My Stones, Walk the Gardens, Carve, Touch, and Turn Sculpture. Kids are welcome. I hope you’ll join us in beautiful Alexander Valley.

In July, I take part in the Marble/marble Stone Carving Symposium in – Marble, Colorado! I was there 24 years ago as a plebe rock carver. Perhaps now I’ll teach them something new.

Last, the “Sultan of Stone” has appeared in 2021. He and the “Stone Wizard” have been seen frolicking about the gardens and haunting the studio. You will likely run into them when you visit. Make sure to introduce yourself and they will show you some Stone Magic! The Sultan is eager to make new friends!
